Musings of a poker couple..

Hi friends, we are Andrew and Sara Malowitz and this blog is going to be the random thoughts, adventures and ups and downs of a couple that plays poker. First, neither of us are professional poker players. We love the game, and play randomly during the week or weekends and at a variety of places. Free bar poker leagues, home games, at local card rooms or while traveling, we like the game and try to play some place every week. So, when the opportunity to blog about these adventures, we both jumped at this opportunity.

A little about us. Andrew is a student at the University of South Florida seeking his MBA and a adjunct professor of Hospitality Management at Hillsborough Community College. Looking at a change in careers, poker has provided an outlet to relax on the weekends and occasionally during the week while in between classes (although usually those short sessions have been disastrous). Sara is a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Neuropsychology and works at rehabilitation facility in Wachula Fl. She also is an adjunct professor at St. Pete College in Psychology and enjoys that as well.

Poker wise we have had successes and failure, Sara having more success that Andrew, but this game is a fickle beast and on any given day either could be doing better than the other.
